EMG HZ7 Soapbar is a passive pickup for 7-string guitars. The pickup is housed in EMG's 35 extended bass housing, so it's not a direct replacement for a traditional humbucking pickup. The HZ7 is a dual-coil pickup and features Alnico 5 poles similar to the 85, with the same amount of output. It's fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.
