EMG JV Set Black Bass Pickups

EMG JV Set is a high quality active Jazz Bass -style pickups set. The set includes EMG LJV (long) bridge pickup and EMG SJV (short) neck pickup. The EMG JV Set is a mixture of old and new, utilizing traditional exposed pole pieces and EMG's active circuitry.

The JV pickups are developed to deliver the classic tone and look of a vintage Jazz Bass without the noise often associated with vintage passive pickups. They use a different pre-amp than the standard EMG J Pickup. Their frequency response is designed to be more like the original vintage pickups found on older basses. The output is not as “Hot” and its attack is very smooth. These pickus maintain the "faded" attack of the offset pole pieces that many players prefer in combination with EMG’s lowest noise preamp.

The JV Set will appeal to the player looking for a "retro" vibe with the active tone and response of an EMG.
