Seymour Duncan Black Winter Set 7-Strg is as dark and vicious as the winters in Scandinavia with excessive grime and aggression; the right balance of mids, treble and bass to instantly take you from annihilating riffs to solos with cutting articulation.
The Black Winter pickups are the brainchild of Musamaailma and Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, designed to fill the needs of extreme metal guitarists with a tone that provides crushing distortion, punishing mids and lots of aggressive saturation and string sensitivity. The pickups were beta-tested by guitarists such as Keith Merrow, Ola Englund (Six Feet Under, The Haunted), and Teloch of the band Mayhem.
Neck and bridge pickups are calibrated for a balanced assault.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Black Winter is available in standard 6-string size, as well as 7 & 8 string passive mount with naked coils. Comes with 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free operation.
