Suhr Standard Plus PF HSS Bengal Burst Electric Guitar

Suhr Standard Plus is a sleek take on the Classic design. The body is slightly downsized and has a sharper radius on the edges with slightly longer horns to give it a modern, yet classy look. The Standard is equipped with some of Suhr’s most popular features including an even C slim neck profile, stainless steel frets, and Suhr’s proprietary SSCII hum cancelling system.

The Standard Plus is designed to inspire. From the moment you pick it up, the Standard Plus comes alive in your hands. The scraped binding, white pearl pickguard, crisp body contours and side input jack take this popular body shape to new levels of refinement and versatility.

The Standard Plus is equipped with an SSH+ bridge humbucker and two V60 single coil pickups. Included is Suhr's SSCII system to provide noise cancellation for the single coil pickups, so every position on the 5-way switch is hum canceling. The V60 pickups faithfully recreate the classic single-coil sounds of the 60’s. These pickups use the same magnets that were used in the pickups made during this era. What you get are clear bell-like highs, warm and punchy mids, and big yet firm lows that are the hallmark of great vintage pickups.

The Gotoh 510 tremolo bridge features dual steel knife edge pivot points to provide greater functionality and years of trouble free performance. The 510’s steel block increases sustain and tuning stability.

The guitar is also equipped with staggered Suhr Locking Tuners, which provide an 18:1 gear ratio, improved tuning stability, and no need for a traditional string tree.

The SSCII is Suhr’s proprietary silent single coil system. The SSCII is installed inside the body of the guitar and works with traditional single coil pickups. It reduces 60 cycle hum and has no impact on tone, no batteries to change – just transparent noise reduction.
