MARKBASS MB58R Mini CMD 151 Pure Bass Amplifier

The MB58R series is a further example of how Markbass is always one step ahead in innovating using state-of-the-art technologies. Once again Marco De Virgiliis with his pioneering soul has managed to create this new series of products which, with the use of custom components born thanks to years of experience and research Markbass and the use of revolutionary materials with an eye to the future and the evironment, has really nailed the tone and power versus portability issue.

The Markbass MB58R Mini CMD 151 Pure features 1x12" Markbass Neodymium custom speaker delivering lows that are tight
and fat with a pleasing earthy growl and clean, clear highs from the new hi-fi tweeter. Plus , this combo is ultraportable, it weighs only 32,85 lbs / 14,9 kg!

The MB58R Mini CMD 151 Pure features a bi-band limiter that responds faster and more dynamically to your playing and lets your high end "breathe" for a more natural sound. There’s also 4-band EQ with flat and scooped presets and 16dB of boosting or cutting. The flat setting is very well balanced while the scooped preset drops the mid frequencies while boosting lows and highs for the ultimate slap bass sound.

Other features include an ”Old School” filter for rounder and smoother tone, line out level control, a convenient mute switch on the front panel and pre/post EQ settings for XLR line out signal. The FSW option allows you to control both mute and the scooped EQ on demand by connecting an optional dual footswitch. Ground Lift switch helps you deal with unwanted noise.
