EMG MMCS Bass Pickup

EMG MMCS is a direct replacement for the Music Man large profile bass pickup. This active humbucking pickup has wide bobbins combined with a large coil surface area that gives the MMCS an incredibly rich bass tone. Utilizing EMG’s popular ceramic and steel (CS) design, the MMCS is a great mixture of transparent high end with a powerful and warm low-end.

EMG's active preamp makes this pickup rich with harmonics and whisper quiet. This is a great alternative to the stock Music Man pickup and it comes with EMG's solderless wiring and pots. For even more headroom, you can use this pickup with 18V power (see the pickup’s installation instructions first).
