Semi-acoustic guitars feature a hollow body. Pickups, neck profile, fretboard radius and other features are similar to normal solid body electric guitars. Semi-acoustic guitars create a rounder, smoother sound, wanted by blues and jazz guitarists and they're also great for classic rock.
