Seymour Duncan Distortion Neck 7-String Active Mount is the neck version of Duncan’s original high output ceramic humbucker design, perfectly calibrated to pair with the Duncan Distortion Bridge 7-Strg for a full frontal heavy assault.
The Duncan Distortion neck pickup is specifically designed for use with the matching high output bridge version. It provides the highest output of all Duncan’s neck humbuckers, and is hot enough to deliver smooth, fluid solo tones under gain, while still producing bell-like clean tones.
Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA factory, the Duncan Distortion uses a large ceramic bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
