EMG PJHZ Set Black Bass Pickups

EMG PJHZ Set gives the flexibility, low noise and great tone of EMG’s PJ set to bass players who prefer the response and feel of passive pickups. Both pickups use Alnico 5 pole piece magnets covered by a solid cap for amazing clarity and sonic range with a sleek look. EMG's PHZ delivers incredible low end punch and lots of high-end articulation, while the LJHZ provides classic jazz bass tones with a tight mid-range and smooth high end response.

Used separately or in combination, they offer endless bass tone options, accommodating contemporary and traditional playing styles. The result are low noise, dependable pickups with tones ranging from tight slap funk, rock, to smooth Motown grooves. With EMG's solderless wiring harness included, the PJHZ Set is easy to install at home.

EMG Active Accessory Circuits like the VLPF, EXB, BTC or BQC Controls can be added to any EMG Pickup System and can be used on either passive or active pickups. Adding Active circuitry will require a battery.
