ESP Edwards E-AL-166 Blacky is a special Alexi Laiho signature model. This Edwards Series instrument is originally intended for Japanese market only, so it’s quite rare outside Japan! The guitar is handmade in Japan, using only high quality tonewoods and parts.

The E-AL-166 features an alder body with neck thru body construction for maximum sustain and access to higher frets. The neck is made of three piece hard maple and fretboard is ebony with 24 extra jumbo -sized frets. Fretboard is scalloped between 19-24.

Other premium features include Gotoh tuners, Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, an EMG HZ FH-2 passive humbucker pickup with volume control and ESP MM-04 preamp booster with on/off switch.

This unique Alexi model is finished in pearl black with black pinstripes on front and back of the body, pearl bindings on the neck and headstock, sawtooth inlays and COBHC graphics on the backside.

The guitar comes in a gig bag.
