The Black Winter fills the needs of extreme metal guitarists with a tone that provides crushing distortion, punishing mids and lots of aggressive saturation and string sensitivity.

This neck pickup delivers high output neck tone with the cut to give you fluid solo tone, and crisp, clear clean sounds. Pair with the Black Winter bridge model for maximum Metal onslaught!

The Black Winter pickups are the brainchild of Musamaailma and Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, designed to fill the needs of extreme metal guitarists with a tone that provides crushing distortion, punishing mids and lots of aggressive saturation and string sensitivity. The pickups were beta-tested by guitarists such as Keith Merrow, Ola Englund (Six Feet Under, The Haunted), and Teloch of the band Mayhem.

Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Black Winter is available in standard 6-string size, as well as 7 & 8 string passive mount with naked coils. Comes with 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free operation.
