ESP Custom Shop Alexi Greeny is a top tier pro-level instrument built by the ESP Custom Shop in Japan. It is similar to the one designed and played by one of the most beloved and influential figures in metal music: Alexi Laiho of Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight.
Made by hand, one at a time, by the world-renowned luthiers at the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, the Alexi Greeny is designed for pure performance. It's an offset V-shaped guitar with neck-thru-body construction. It pairs a comfortable alder body with a fast and smooth three-piece thin U-shaped maple neck with satin grip. The ebony fingerboard features 24 extra-jumbo frets, scalloped between 19-24 and sawtooth inlays that glow in the dark.
Other high-end features on this outstanding guitar include Gotoh tuners, ESP strap locks, and a Floyd Rose Original bridge. A single EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker creates the excellent presence and clarity with a punchy response that you can expect from an Alexi signature guitar. It also includes an ESP MM-04 active boost switch, a preamp circuit with adjustable EQ settings and up to +18dB of boost when you need it!
This Alexi model comes in gloss black finish with lime green pinstripes and skull graphics, chrome hardware and white bindings on the neck and headstock.
The guitar is set up to your preferred tuning and action before shipping. It comes in a high quality ESP hard case with a certificate of authenticity.
