Built with bolt-on construction at 25.5”’ scale, it offers a flat-top mahogany body paired to an extra thin U-shaped quarter-sawn three-piece maple neck with natural satin finish for the smoothest and fastest playing experience imaginable. It also has an ebony fingerboard with deluxe mother-of-pearl offset block inlays and 24 extra-jumbo Jescar stainless steel frets.
The parts and components on the USA M-I DX Cherry Bomb are second to none, and include Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners, a recessed TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body design for excellent sustain and resonance, Dunlop strap locks, and a bone nut. Its streamlined design provides a single direct-mount pickup in the bridge position… an innovative Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker ceramic with multiple voices selectable by a push-pull on the volume knob. Voice 1 is the ultimate high-output ceramic humbucker bridge pickup tone… crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl. Voice 2 delivers modern passive attack performance that has superbly organic distortion characteristics with outstanding dynamics and response.
The USA M-I DX Cherry Bomb includes a custom ESP USA form-fitting hardshell case, and an official Certificate of Authenticity from ESP.
