ESP Vulture Electric Guitar

ESP Guitars and James Hetfield joined forces once again to bring you his vision, a unique V design called the Vulture. This signature model features the EMG Het Set, set-neck construction, and an ebony fingerboard with custom inlay.

The unique guitar is handcrafted in Japan with exceptional quality woods and the best components, resulting in a reliable new instrument James uses frequently on stage. The Vulture has a one piece mahogany set neck and all-mahogany body, giving it a full, thick sound with loads of sustain. Add the EMG JH HET Signature Set and you’ve got the iconic Metallica sound, but with added versatility!

The JH Set consists of the JH-N (neck) and the JH-B (bridge). Both were patterned after the pickups James had used for 30 years, but the end result was a completely different animal. The JH-N has individual ceramic poles and bobbins that feature a larger core and are taller than the 60. This produces more attack, higher output, and fuller low end in the neck position. The JH-B uses the same type of core but has steel pole pieces, unlike the 81 that uses bar magnets. This produces the familiar tight attack with less inductance for a cleaner low end.

The Vulture is finished in stylish Black Satin with custom inlay and headstock graphics. Includes a form-fit hard case.
